Hair style for from old days ?

well.. in the later 80's and very early 90's the side ponytail was pretty popular..Or a half-ponytail on the side.

and "Crimping" was in.

If you don't have a crimper you can get that effect by washing her hair the night before, and braiding it in many little braids while it's wet, and sleeping with those braids.

Often just part of the hair would be crimped.

70's long and straight was in. VERY long.. LIke the Brady girls.. Or for shorter hair, a haircut like "Donna" from "That 70's show).

as someone born in 1980, I went to school in the 80's and 90's and think it's HILARIOUS that you're calling them "The old days". LOL.

Personally.. I think the 1950's is a more fun decade to dress up like.. Here's a picture of a typical 1950's skirt and top.. Skirt should be mid-calf. Shoes should be small canvass tennies (not big bulky tennis shoes, but the little canvass ones) and socks turned down ast the ankles.

Hair is EASY: Ponytail. But it MuST be tied with either a ribbon or a scarf. I suggest doing one of the following

either (a) tying the ponytail with a long flowing scarf or

(B) tying the ponytail with a small ribbon, then tying a long flowing scarf around teh neck (with the knot on the side).
