**You don't have to straighten your hair, just blow dry it out to tame it first! :]

You'll have to make sure your hair curls with an iron or rollers, which I'm sure it will. After you shower put some texturizing spray in your hair to make sure the curls are separate. Then blow dry your hair with a round brush, pulling and feathering your hair towards the back of your head, this will help your hair to keep the shape if you dry it in a similar shape as the finished product. Once your hair is dry, use either LARGE barrel curling iron or large curlers and curl 2 or 3 inch sections of hair turning the curs away from your face. To get the height she has in her hair use a teasing comb and tease about an inch or to away from your roots all over the top of your head. Finish of your hair with some hair spray and shine spray. ur hair has naturally small curls...so ull need to dry ur hair straight, cus otherwise ur smaller curls would get in the way

and then u need a large barrel curler...and if thats the length ur hairs at now then need to get extensions too

*** and u need to straighten it cus like i said, the smaller curls would get in the way of making bigger curls...but instead of straightening it u just have to get it smooth

ok well because my computer is retarded(lol) i couldn't c` the pic of u but if u have long hair (like me) and naturally curly hair(like me again!!!!!) i get my hair similar to that (kinda like miley c's hair) by scrunching my wet hair in mouse then taking 1" strands of hair and curling them w/ (obviously!) a curling iron.....hopes this helps!!!!

2. curl the ends....not the top

or

1. use soft gel that wont make your hair look wut...it will just hold it in place.

2. scrunch hair....even if curly!!!

Its looks like from both the pictures you put up you will have to flat iron your hair.

You have A LOT of hair, so it will probably take a long time, you might can go to the salon and see if they can do a straightening process for you, that should cut down on some time.

After you get your hair straight, you would then curl your hair..

wrapping your hair around the curling iron, like in a vertical way (if that makes sense)

Use mouse, heat protectant and a hold hair spray.

start to curl your hair in the back first with the bigger curlers. work your way all the way to the top. but when u get to the top tease your hair with a brush or comb. then start to curl the top the same way as teh back. you might also want to get some volumizing shampoo. because it looks like your hair is a fine texture. and volume is key in this style. good luck.
