What is the strongest kind of hair styling gel?

If you're looking to do somethign drastic like, say, a mohawk or something, then no lie, good old Elmer's school glue will do the trick. It will dry HARD. Some actors will use it because it stays literally until you wash it out very very well. I've heard dish soap before normal shampooing will do the trick getting it out. Maybe not the greatest for your hair, as it's not really a hair product, persay, but i had a friend who used to have these sort of "dread locks" that she just twisted her hair in chunks with glue, and it worked welll. It also worked well when she had an eight inch mohawk... not quite my style, but nonetheless, it was effective!!

For more "conventional"styles (I don't really know your stylistic intentions, but) like one answerer has already said, ther is a product called hair glue. You might see it called hair paste, and it will usually come in a small plastic jar (like pommade would).

Hope this helps! Happy styling!
