Any simple hair styles for long hair?

My avatar is misleading. In actuality, I have black hair that rests two inches below my shoulder blades. With summer arriving, I'm having trouble finding ways to tie my hair up.

Basically, I'm asking for some easy different ponytail styles than the typical ponytail. I'm open to ways that I could braid my hair or put my hair up. I am not looking for a haircut.

What i usually do, after i get out of the shower is i throw my hair in a low messy bun, it is cute and it gets your hair out of your face.

Here are some suggestions:

Curl hair and put it in a high or low ponytail.

Wear a tight, low bun, or a messy, high bun.

French braid your hair into a side ponytail.

Do a very loose up-do by pinning each strand of hair up separately with bobby pins rather than using a ponytail holder.

i would "poof" your bangs if you have any and then put it into a messy bun or just a regular ponytail.

Ok i love doing this one. just pull your hair into a low(ish) ponytail and then flip the hair underneath and through the hair on your head, so it makes pretty rolls on each side of your head...

i dont think im doing a very good job of explaining it, but if you try it you will see what i am trying to describe...

what i do: i do one large braid in my hair when it is still wet and let it air dry (if you go to bed with wet hair or have the time) otherwise blow dry the braid. when its dry take it apart and comb out your hair with your fingers. the waves look really nice and soft.

My hair is past my hips and it's kinda hard to find hairstyles that are easy to do with long hair. You can put it in a messy bun and then leave it alone after you do it so that it looks naturally messy and not like you tried to make it messy. You can also try french braids if you want to do a little more work on your hair. You can also do a french twist or pull the sides up with a pony tail or clip and just wear it down. If you think a ponytail looks too plain you can make a poof in front of your head to make it look different. Hope this helps.
